Reimagined for style and space

This home was situated on an incredibly small block of land, making maximising space the main goal of any renovations. Although it was recently renovated by another builder, additional steps were needed to enhance both its style and practicality.

Designed by Matt Hull from DesignPad Architecture, the living and dining areas were both extended, with the addition of a modern outdoor entertaining area. These were carefully implemented to enhance flow and provide valuable space and entertaining opportunities. A plunge pool was also added to the new outdoor area, creating a relaxing space for owners and guests to escape to. This luxury addition provided a modern yet sophisticated element to the home. The flooring was also updated, featuring polished concrete that seamlessly met the existing floorboards of the home. This created a natural yet complementary contrast between old and new features. To then increase the usable space, modern architecture was utilised to create the pitched roof. Not only did this help create a unique yet classical silhouette, but the addition of a roof ladder to access this area added valuable storage.

Finally, the finishing touches helped enhance these renovations. With beautiful arches throughout and striking white and green accents in the kitchen and laundry, no detail was too small to be overlooked. Throughout this renovation, high-quality materials and finishes were used to ensure that every element met the highest standards. Using fantastic, local suppliers in Newcastle, this project was completed on time and within budget.
