Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for you to renovate my home?
A renovation can take anywhere from three to six months or more, depending on your goals, the services delivered, and the stage of planning you’re at when you engage us.
What types of home renovations do you offer?
We work on major home renovations that involve significant transformations. We also offer home extensions, new builds, and can assist with knock-down/rebuild projects. At this time, we do not offer minor renovations.
Who designs my renovation?
We can work with clients at all stages of their renovation journey. For some clients, they already have a design in place, and we’re able to execute the plan. For others at the very beginning of their journey, we can assist with all elements of design and planning.
Do I need a permit to renovate my home?
If your renovation falls under an exempt development requirement, you will not be required to get a permit. If your renovation falls under ‘comply and develop’, you will require a CDC. If your renovation doesn’t fall under CDC requirements, you will then require a DA.
How much does a home renovation cost?
The cost of a home renovation depends on several factors, including budget, vision, design and more. Here at Rose Building, we believe in quality – which is why we do not recommend renovating unless you have a sufficient budget allocated. We can help you plan a renovation that suits your budget and your goals.
What warranties and insurances will I receive?
We provide Home Warranty and Project Insurance. You’ll also receive a structural and non-structural warranty for ten years, plus product and PC warranty.
